So I think I may be close to getting a job, which is kinda crazy. Tomorrow I will have been home a week AND I get to see my dear Scarlett, wahoo! I’ve been mostly trying to clean my room and get a job lately. The latter is winning out. My room is just so….overwhelming…darn all that moving back and forth in college! I’ve decided the only furniture I can have in my room is a bed and bookshelves. So yeah, I am going to do a phone interview this weekend with this guy who wants me to nanny for his sons. I’m really starting to like the family. I should pray about this.
I must keep cleaning this room…I will pray while cleaning…multitasking is my middle name!

ahhh it is good to be home, especially with a mom who is going through and ice cream bar phase..I LOVE IT! Today has been a good day. I’ve had a family ask to interview me by phone to be a nanny for them, went for a jog this morning, got my teeth cleaned, found out my favorite cousin/traveling partner may be coming to see me OH SO SOON and will perchance see a movie tonight with my favorite guy, alex riester…hehe!!
I’m excited about the job thing, I wish I could make more, but that’s okay. It will be nice to just make my own money and not feel like a burden on my parents!
I’m kinda brain dead…getting your teeth cleaned will do that to you, so i’m gonna go

Oh Venice, I cannot be mad at you for long…you are just so….charming!  We are leaving for Dublin tonight and then HOME on Thursday, I actually cannot wait to be back in America but I shall miss my beloved Europe!

I am in Rome, it is absolutely crazy, but I love it!  I will write more when i have more than 2 minutes left at an internet cafe!!  I am off to get a pizza and some fanta!

Today we are heading to Rome, actually we won’t get there till tomorrow morning, because we’re taking the night train from Munich.  I am SO excited about Rome, but also a little apprehensive.  The pickpockets are really bad down there and now that Italy has won the world cup, I’m sure it will be crazy.  If you think about it, please pray for us, and for protection.  Otherwise, it’s ROME, so much history and beauty, I wish I could see it all!  I was reading last night that there are these steps there supposedly where Jesus left Pontius Pilate’s palace before the crucifixion (they were moved there by somebody)…it said that “the faithful descend the steps on their knees”…I get to go there!!  I am pretty dang excited.  Though it will be sad to leave the German-speaking countries, oh how I love them.  Germans have to be the kindest people ever, I LOVE THEM!

today we hiked….and hiked….and hiked.  my feet fell off…it is really hard to travel with just stumps…maybe i can go back to my lova.  seriously at least 15 miles were walked today…luckily we met lots of good people and sang songs from Sound of Music.  ahhh switzerland, i shall miss you so.  love!
