My precious grandmother died yesterday.  Life will not be the same without her.  I am staying here in Europe and not going back for the memorial service and funeral, because as so many people have said she would have wanted me to stay here and enjoy my trip.  Your thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated.

It’s ME, the world traveller!  Posting for Oxford, Great Britain.  We’re having a marvelous time, despite getting desperately lost quite often!  Here are some pictures of our day at Belheim Palace, which is the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill.  Cecilia and I kept waiting for Mr. Darcy to arrive and declare that he “ardently loved” us…no such luck though!

not that big, but whatever

beautiful rose garden…

being silly with some capes they let people try on…i’m looking for my troops…hehe

hope you enjoyed these

So I am leaving for Europe in 16 hours…AHHHH so crazy.  I’m so excited though!  Please pray for us during our trip, it is truly a blessing that we even get to go.  There is so much going on here at home though.  Today I saw my grandma, Baba, as I called her growing up.  She is doing really well.  All I could say when we left was “I will see you when I get back”, oh how I pray that is true!!!

There is so much spiritual warfare all around us.  Satan really is attacking.  Now, more than ever, we need to be on our knees, fighting for our loved ones.  I just can’t believe all the things that have happened just since graduation.  So much heartache.  The Lord has really been speaking to me about turning ashes to beauty.  He makes everything beautiful, every heartache, every nasty habit, EVERYTHING!  How wonderful that is.

Okay I need to go finish packing!

LOVE!

ps I will do my best to update from Europe!!

Okay I know that isn’t likely to be very proper to just say this on xanga, but I figured since I won’t be seeing a lot of the people I knew at JBU very much in the future and I’m horrible at calling people back, that I would just tell you here.  We found out this past week that my grandmother (my mom’s mom) has multiple myeloma and 6-12 weeks to live.  Please keep my family, especially my mom, in  your prayers.  We don’t know if my grandma is a believer, so I’m hoping and praying she finds Jesus soon, if she hasn’t already.
