So, first of all, why does everybody gosta be hatin’ on the xanga?  WHATEV!

Second of all, I should have been in bed about 1.75 hours ago.

Third of all, I went almost 12 hours today before coming home, sad but true.

Fourth of all, 5 weeks of undergrad classes left in my LIFE…also sad, but true.

Fifth of all;
plus equals beautiful babies…trust me on this one

So helping out with the baby wasn’t too bad.  I was up with her from 4:30-5:30 and that was it.  Yeah I didn’t even hear her get up at 8, what a great mom I will be!  haha  I was tired ALL day yesterday though, I’m not ready to be a mom.  I can’t imagine how single parents do it, seriously.
Today is my last full day of spring break at home.  Don’t feel like I got much accomplished :(  Oh well.  I cannot believe I have 5 weeks of undergrad classes left, YAY, but still sad.  I got a job offer to be a nanny in D.C., not through the agency I applied to, but that’s okay.  It’s nice to know somebody might want to employ me.
I’ve got that scandelous song “Time’s a-wastin’” from Walk the Line stuck in my head!  I’ve decided that’s how I’ll pick up boys from now on.  Something like this “so i noticed that I’ve got lips and you’ve got lips….wanna get together and use those lips?”  I think June Carter would be proud!  haha  yeah I’ll let you know how that line works!

edit: how could I forget to mention that i FINALLY FINISHED WAR AND PEACE!  WAHOOOO

okay, so tonight i will wake up at approximately 12:30 (that is if i’m even in bed by then), 4 and 6.  That’s right I’m helping out my cousin with her baby, so she can actually get a full night’s sleep.  It should be any different than pullin’ an all-nighter before an exam.  I’ll let you know how it goes.  I wonder if when I’m a nanny (for an infant) if part of my job description will be to wake up when the baby wakes up in the middle of the night?  Hmmm, don’t know.

Speaking of nannying, I’ve added more criteria (or is it criterion?);

~ summer home in the Hamptons

~ extensive library in at least ONE of their houses

~ a huge, luxurious tub in my living quarters

~ travel by private jet…ahhhh!

Imagine that there is such a thing as a “graduation exam” and before you graduation from college you must take this comprehensive exam or you will not graduate.  The exam will not be made up of any information concerning your core (re: EASY) classes, but mostly the material you found MOST challenging during your 4 (or 5 or 6) years, the stuff you had to study REPITIVELY just to get a “C” on the exam.  Pretty much, it’s the exam of your nightmares.  Okay, this is how I feel about the MCAT.  The fear of this looming-larger-than-life exam has now pervaded my dreams….AHHHHH!  There is no hiding from it.

In other news, here a few criteria I’m adding to the wish list of my future employers’ house (people I’ll nanny for):
~ wicked awesome gym
~ private movie theater (complete with fountain drink machine and popcorn maker)
~ pool/hot tub
~ flat screen tvs (esp. in my living space)

that’s all i can think of now.  Also it would be nice if the car they provide me with is like a 2006 Range Rover, with tvs for the kids in back and Onstar for me.  Thanks!

Spring Break recap #2: went to church Sunday morning (got to see several people from Honduras mission trip, yayay), came home and watched the Prison Break marathon.  Yeah, let’s just stop here and I will divulge some things.  First of all, I’ve never watched Prison Break before and now I am addicted.  Second of all, I want to have Wentworth Miller’s babies…sooooo hott…ahhhhh!  So I will be watching it tonight, as the new season is beginning!  THEN I took a nice, long hot bath…with candles and  music..it was WONDERFUL!  Next Alex and Kaitlyn left :(  I miss them already.  Read a little, and now I’m less than 160 pages from finishing War and Peace.  The sad part is that I can barely remember the beginning of the book because I began reading it LAST SUMMER.  Oh well, at least I will be able to say I finished it!

Spring Break thus far:

Got home about 3:30, went to a St. Patrick’s Day party with all the Catholics within a 25 mile radius of good ole Leavenworth, Kansas.  Note to self: if you go to a party with your parents, there will be NO hott young men and you will have nothing to talk with because everyone is a 60-year-old stranger.  Then I came home, and slept for 15 hours straight (it was a rough week last week)!!  It felt good.  Then had some good dad-daughter quality time!

that’s all

Who was I kidding?  I seriously thought my relationship with chocolate was mere “in-like-ness”…HAHAHAH.  I know, you’re most likely laughing out loud after reading that last sentence.  This past week has proven to me that I am indeed ADDICTED to chocolate.  I cannot live without it.  In fact, I have lived on chocolate chip cookies for the past 3 days, honestly, you may be thinking “she’s kidding, no one can LIVE on cookies”, but i reiterate, “no, no, my friend, indeed it CAN be done and I am living proof!”
Yes, in case you are wondering, this post was written while I was in a chocolate-induced high, not gonna lie.  So, chocolate, I’m sorry for EVER denying that I love you, I now know it is untrue.  To our future….

LOVE!

praise God for chocolate!!
