LIFE IS SO GRAND!
As if I didn’t love Quizno’s before! Okay so I bought this Panther card thingy that is a fund-raiser for the Siloam Springs football team and it has coupons and discounts on the back that it is good for. One of the deals is that you get a free small sub from Quizno’s when you buy a medium drink and chips, a.k.a. a meal for $2.46…so this has prompted dinner from Quizno’s for the last two nights. Last night this young girl waited on me and was totally sweet and it made me feel good. Then tonight I pulled up after class and all the chairs were on top of the tables and they were mopping so I started to pull away because I thought they were closed. Well another young girl comes out and waves me in (how cute), so I’m like “i don’t want you guys to have to clean up after me” and they insist on waiting on me. The boy who made my sandwich was totally cute and flirty (ego: boost!) and then the girl from last night was asking me about my major and what i wanted to do in life and gave me two free things of soup (which come in handy since I’m sick). As I’m walking out and thanking my new friends (shut up!), she says “have a great life”…ha like she won’t be seeing me FREQUENTLY until next May…muhahah. That made me feel oh-so-great.
Also Holly and Jody were here for the weekend. They, along with Corrie, kept talking about how cute I am and photogenic (whatever) (ego: boost) and it was wonderful. I love those girls so much. We went shoe shopping and I’m addicted to shoes. Don’t tell the boys at JBU, but I’m secretly revelling in the fact that I will be single when I leave JBU, because this means I will be making money while I’m single, which means I will be buying shoes, loads and loads and loads of shoes and I WILL LOVE IT!
Another thing I love is purses (and jewelry, but that is a whole other xanga entry). I bought the object of a long obsession this weekend; a Coach handbag. I have been researching (aka shopping online) and thinking about this purchase for oh, about the last 2 years. And this birthday I decided birthday money is going to my Coach purse. Then I had to find it, and I did and I love it. It’s my baby and I’m ridiculous I KNOW, so I’m stopping. Except for one other thing, when I’m making money after I graduate i will be buying LOADS AND LOADS AND LOADS of purses to match my millions of shoes..muhahahah!
here is a photo of my purse
LOVE!
Sorry for neglecting you my dear xanga. Well, life is out of control and pretty great. Today work was absolutely insane, but somehow I stayed on top of things and loved every minute of it. Everyone was in such a great mood. Tonight I’m so happy cause I can breathe and relax. I’ve made some orea-ice-cream dessert and bought popsicles…I’m pretty sure I could live on these two things alone. HAHa…so for my birthday my parents gave me bakeware and glassware and my mom wrote out all her recipes that I love and so I went to the one for the Oreo-Ice-Cream dessert recipe card and it says it serves ONE PERSON!!! This dessert fills a whole 9×13 pan…and she put it as serving ONE PERSON…and this is why I love this lady and she is officially the greatest mom EVER!
So I’ve been rocking out to Queen’s Greatest Hits for the past week, thanks to Katie. Sorry to everyone who has heard me sing the only words of the Bicycle Races song that I know…”I WANT TO RIDE MY BICYCLE, I WANT TO RIDE MY BIKE!”
Okay…LOVE!
I am now currently enjoying Fall Break…the last Fall Break I will ever have :( After driving for what seemed like forever, I walked in to my house and it smelled like Christmas. Do you know how nice that is? VERY!
It kind of reminds me of in the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith (yes I saw it) how he tells her that when he first saw her he thought she looked like Christma morning.. I think I would cry if anyone ever told me that…I think that was very nice…plus it was coming from Brad Pitt!! Oh one day a boy will think I look like Christmas morning!!
So why am I up at like 12:30…because my dog, Timber is deathly afraid of thunderstorms and it is currently storming = Timber awake and bugging me = me and mom having a late night party = me being tired in early service tomorrow. I won’t fall asleep during the sermon though cause I’ll have my bright PINK new shoes on. I don’t care what anyone thinks I LOVE THEM!!!
Okay I’m out!
LOVE!
